Stop One: “The Chosen Spot”
In the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes Region, FLCC is nestled in nature on a 250-acre park-like campus. Scenic Canandaigua, named for the Iroquois word meaning “chosen spot,” is known for its beautiful surroundings, including Canandaigua Lake which is just minutes from the FLCC campus.
The region offers plenty of activities for FLCC students and their families. You can take in a show at the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC), located on the FLCC campus; tour local vineyards and wineries; go shopping and antiquing at nearby stores; or enjoy the great outdoors by visiting one of the area’s many lakes, parks, and nature preserves.
