Student Health Services
Student Health Services provides the following:
- Personal and confidential wellness care to promote and facilitate positive lifestyle changes.
- Nursing assessment, confidential health counseling and care of health problems.
- Direct, accessible and low-cost medical care referrals.
- Follow-up with students who have health problems.

- Screening and brief intervention for substance use.
- Information on student health insurance.
Staffing
The College retains a physician consultant. Wellness care, care of health problems and health counseling are provided under the direction of a masters’ prepared registered nurse.
Hours
Students may be seen on a walk-in basis, depending upon the availability of a nurse, Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., or other hours by appointment.(Medical emergencies are handled by the local ambulance corps.) There is a fee based on the service provided.
