Activities & Resources
The goals and objectives of the Teaching Center are accomplished through workshops, sharing sessions, peer mentoring, support groups, support for self-initiated investigation and learning, teleconferencing, training sessions, and attendance at National Conferences.
The Teaching Center provides faculty and staff the opportunity to share information, teaching skills, and instructional resources. As a physical setting, it offers a small conference space for workshops, teleconferences, and small discussion groups through which faculty may share their concerns and questions about teaching and learning. The Teaching Center is located on the second floor of the Library (A200).
In the Teaching Center You Will Find:
- Two computers with desk-jet printers, multimedia and Internet capability.
- A TV/VCR with satellite connection.
- A bulletin board announcing educational conferences.
- Pedagogical books, periodicals, and video tape library.
- Teleconferencing capabilities.
- Phone
- A large conference table with ten chairs.
