Q: I'll be a new student this coming semester. Do I have to get a permit to park on campus?
A: Students do not need to pay for parking or obtain a permit to park on campus to park in "A" lot or "G" lot. Students are not permitted to park in "D" lot which is reserved for faculty and staff from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

Q: Is it okay to park in the fire lane if I'm only going to be there for a minute?
A: No. It's never okay to park there. We don't know when there will be a fire. The same thing goes for all reserved parking areas. These areas are reserved for specific reasons.
Q: What if I don't agree with a parking ticket? Can I contest it?
A: Yes. If you accidentally parked in the wrong area, and got a ticket as a result, do feel free to appeal the violation. If it is your first violation, it will probably be voided. Be advised, however, that our office will not condone repeated offenses, or persons who knowingly and willfully park illegally, by voiding every ticket that's appealed.
