FLCC MESSAGE

The Environmental Conservation Department at Finger Lakes Community College offers diverse programs which enable you to develop a broad environmental awareness. FLCC offers two-year degree programs and one-year certificate programs to help you pursue a career in the environmental, conservation, and horticulture fields.

Upon completing a degree program, students have the option of entering the job market or transferring to a four-year college or university. Extensive field experiences in the Finger Lakes Region, the Adirondack Mountains, the Florida Everglades, Alaska, and various national parks are offered as part of all degree programs. Other unique features include a conservation field camp emphasizing wildlife, fish and land management, a 250-acre campus with a nature trail where outdoor classes are held, a College arboretum, an on-campus Fish Culture Center, greenhouses, and three large boats for fishery and limnology field work on the Finger Lakes.um.
