All students registered at FLCC are given a student e-mail account and a WebAdvisor account. Your e-mail account is an important part of the line of communications between the College and student. Your WebAdvisor account allows you to view your schedule, grades, billing information and even register for courses.
All students registered at FLCC are eligible to receive a Student Computer Account. These accounts are essential for many courses at FLCC, and are also essential to gain access to the Internet from our many computer labs, or by means of a laptop through our college-wide wireless network.
Establishing your Student Computer Account
You can apply for an account at any lab computer. You can then pick up your account sheet with password at the computer Help Desk (B388) or Campus Center office in Geneva or Newark. You will need your student ID number to pick up your account assignment sheet.
WebCT Learning Management System
WebCT is a web-based learning management system used in many courses at FLCC. When you are registered in courses where online content is available, a WebCT account is automatically created for you. WebCT enables continuous 24/7 access to online course materials from anywhere you can connect to the Web with a supported browser.
Your instructor will notify you if there are components of your course available via WebCT and will also enable access to the appropriate course areas when required. WebCT can be accessed by browsing to http://webct.flcc.edu.
