Division of Advancement
The Division of Advancement supports the mission and vision of Finger Lakes Community College. Our purpose is to develop and build effective partnerships with local and regional stakeholders in order to add value to the College and the communities we serve. We are actively identifying and exploring opportunities for increased engagement and meaningful collaboration. To accomplish this, we are working closely with both internal and external constituents of the College. This may include faculty, administration, students, alumni, friends, donors, community leaders, businesses, private organizations, educational institutions, not for profits, government officials and the media. It is our job to help connect people so that the unique role that FLCC plays in the community is clearly understood and communicated. We are also responsible for fostering philanthropic investment in FLCC. In partnership with the FLCC Foundation, we raise financial and in-kind support in order to sustain FLCC’s commitment to becoming the college of choice for students and a dynamic regional learning resource and economic engine for our region. Departments under the Advancement umbrella include: Resource Development, Community Affairs, the Bridge Program and Sustainability.
