ART CLUB
The Art Club promotes an interest in the visual and performing arts by sponsoring art exhibitions, guest artists and speakers, trips to museums, concerts, music conventions, and theatrical productions. Membership affords the student with an interest in the visual and performing arts an opportunity to get to know others who share like interests and provides a setting for the lively exchange of ideas and opinions.

BIKERS' CLUB
The purpose of the Bikers' Club is to provide an interest group for those who currently bike as well as those who are interested in getting started in biking. The club rides frequently in many of the areas surrounding FLCC.

The purpose of the College Democrats Club is to promote an interest in political events, values, ideas and the outcomes of those ideas, as related to the Democratic Party.

COMMUNICATIONS CLUB
This club promotes an interest in broadcasting and public relations. Activities include conferences, trips to television stations and video production houses, and guest speakers.

CONSERVATION CLUB
This club is rimarily composed of students in the Conservation program, but open to all with interest in conservation or outdoor recreation. Activities such as camping, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, and rafting are just a few of the club-sponsored day and weekend outings. The club also is involved in paper recycling and environmentally-oriented community projects.

The purpose of F.L.E.A. is to provide the college community with education about our environment, with every aspect of sensible and safe living.

THE GHOST (Editorial Newspaper)
The Ghost of Ben Franklin is our student-run, editorial style newspaper that is published throughout the terms. Students who are interested in submitting materials should contact the Ghost advisor. Articles, opinions, poetry, and more are accepted!

The I.T.O. club embraces opportunities for travel and study abroad, as well as for international educational exchange opportunities.

MASSAGE CLUB
The Massage Club is designed to enhance the educational experience of those students involved in the Massage Therapy program and others interested in learning more about the profession of Massage.

NON-TRADITIONAL STUDENT SUPPORT CLUB (N.T.S.S.)- Newark
The N.T.S.S. Club’s main focus is the issue of balancing the demands of work, family, and school. members give and receive advice on these issues and learn from experts on various aspects of the “balancing act.”

The club performs various health-oriented service projects in the community and sponsors social events during the year. Membership is open to all nursing and pre-nursing students who wish to share their interest.

The purpose of the Physical Education Club is to provide an those interested in the field of Physical Education an opportunity to meet, discuss news in the field and participate in events that promote healthy living and lifestyles. Open to anyone interested in the field or science of P.E..

RADIO CLUB
The Radio Club provides student-programmed entertainment promotes campus activities. Broadcasts are transmitted throughout the Student Union, and music is chosen by vote of club members. Each member has a regular, formatted show.

SIGMAN ALPHA PI
Sigma Alpha Pi is a national honor society focused on leadership and success. Sigma Alpha Pi was created by a nationwide effort of professional motivational speakers, and the honor society’s aim is to help students become confident individuals and leaders. Membership requirements include attending three or more videoconferences and success networking team meetings over the course of the year, as well as attending a three-hour leadership training day.
SKI AND BOARD CLUB
The Ski and Board Club promotes a healthy, social lifestyle outside of the classroom through skiing and snowboarding.

This club provides opportunities for increased knowledge and experience in the social science disciplines and local human service agencies.

STAR seeks to help support gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students, working to increase awareness and understanding of issues related to gender and sexual orientation. Students participate in discussions and other outreach programs in a safe environment.
