Jonathan Belec
Jonathan Belec serves as technical specialist in the music department at FLCC and has worked at the College since 2006. Belec previously worked as a staff engineer for The Hit Factory recording studios in New York City and as a freelance engineer for the tri-state area and upstate New York. Belec earned a bachelor of science in sound recording technology from SUNY Fredonia. He has been classically trained on trombone and is currently a bassist, playing in the Rochester area. Belec has experience working with a wide variety of artists ranging from Dream Theater to Jennifer Lopez, and Matchbox Twenty to Kanye West. His has additional knowledge of studio installation and maintenance and session protocol, as well as valuable continued experience working with a variety of people in the music business.
